It is essential that this faith in Jesus be active in the home and carried out into the community, our country and around the world.
Our Staff:Our staff recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
has served as the Senior Pastor at Pathway since 1982. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Old Testament at Azusa Pacific University and his Masters of Divinity at Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. By 1984 he had completed his doctoral work at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena with an emphasis in psychology and counseling. His relevant teaching and preaching of the Word makes it come alive to all who hear. His passion for reaching the lost of the world is contagious. He has led numerous work teams into foreign countries. Currently he is focusing on Bangladesh and other Muslim dominated countries. Mike and his wife Jan have been married over 40 years and have also served churches in Kernville and Yuba City. Mike loves spending time with his family, (especially his beautiful grandchildren) photography, and traveling.
Emily Goodyear, Nursery DirectorEmily has been working with Pathway's children for many years and she currently heads up our nursery. She actually wears many hats at Pathway as she is very creative and talented. She is an excellent programmer, choir director, camp administrator, etc. And, she can soothe a crying baby like no one else.
She and her husband Steve have 4 beautiful daughters whom they are raising to love God and others. In her spare time, Emily, volunteers both at Pathway and her daughters' school, Summit Christian School. She is talented in drama and music as well as event planning. She has a heart for the Lord and for her family. We are blessed to have her at Pathway.
Dana Lahargoue, Elementary Director
Dana has been our rock in KidZone for many years. She has a heart for our kids to know and love Jesus and the kids love her. She has been teaching Sunday School and running Kinder Camp at Pathway for quite some time. It's an incredible blessing to now have her heading up our elementary department.
In her spare time, Dana enjoys spending time with her 6 grandchildren as well as quilting and teaching quilting classes.
Thomas Dixon, Student Ministries Director
It's difficult to describe what Tom does with a single title. From Audio/Visual Systems lead to KidZone Camp Director, Worship Team Guitarist to Highway Student Ministries Leader, if an event is happening at Pathway, chances are good that Tom has a hand in it. He recently graduated from William Jessup University with a Bachelor 's Degree in Psychology, and is currently working towards his Masters of Divinity at Western Seminary. Tom and his wife Karina have been married for over 10 years and have 3 vivacious daughters who keep them constantly busy. He spends much of his time studying and playing guitar.
